As Head of Finance, Akbar is responsible for overseeing PFPFA’s financial operations, ensuring strong financial governance, optimizing performance, and supporting strategic growth initiatives across the Group.

Before joining PFPFA, Akbar held senior finance leadership roles across diverse industries including retail, financial services, oil and gas, consulting, and wholesale trading. As CFO of international consumer brand Luxie, he led global finance and operations, drove financial strategy, and supported M&A and capital-raising initiatives. At TT International Ltd, he oversaw complex, multi-entity financial operations and successfully led large-scale finance transformation projects.
A seasoned finance executive, Akbar brings over two decades of experience in financial management, strategic planning, and business partnering. His expertise spans financial reporting, FP&A, risk management, M&A, and business process reengineering. He has led finance transformation initiatives, ERP implementations, and shared services start-ups—building high-performing teams and driving operational efficiency.
